Land casinos are working hard to keep customers coming back to their casinos and hotels especially during the current state of the economy. Less people are frequenting the casinos and many have adopted special promotions to help bring the customers in.

Special tournaments or promotions are created to entice the customer to the casino and keep them there. The Palms casino is hosting a special mini baccarat tournament this April to bring in the gambling customers.

The Executive Vice President of the Palms, Anthony Brandonisio stated that the tournament was created to bring in the locals and will offer players special incentives. Those who participate in the mini baccarat tournament will receive commemorative gaming chips and custom bottles of Xo Cognac. The Pearl Theater will also offer unique entertainment during the tournament.

One way for casinos to maintain their business and steady revenue is to gear their promotions or tournaments as the Palms has done. So even if out of town visitors are now frequenting the casino they can still count on the locals.
