Palazzo to host Grand Master Baccarat ChampionshipIn July, the Palazzo of Las Vegas will play host to the 5th Annual Grand Dragon Master Baccarat Championship. The championship is of the global variety and takes place across several Las Vegas Sands properties including those in Singapore and Macao. The combined events of the Championship span the globe and offers $10,000,000 in total prize money!
During the Las Vegas stop, players will be treated to a quality tournament experience with almost $1.5 million up for grabs spread out over three tournament events. The schedule includes:
• Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament with $200,000 in prize money
• Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament with $250,000 in prize money
• Royal Dragon Baccarat Tournament with $1 million in prize money (Invitation Only)
Each of the events will culminate in the Global Final which will take place in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands by next year. For the July event, players will be able to compete from the 22nd to the 25th and the 29th to August 1st. The tournament will include a $25,000 daily prize pool which will be part cash and part chips.
The Golden Dragon Baccarat Tournament will be what takes place in July, followed by the Ruby Dragon Baccarat Tournament in October. Taking place on the 7th and 8th, this event will see the top six players earning an entry into the $1 million Royal Dragon Baccarat event which is scheduled for November.
Those who are able to compete in the $1 million event will be vying for the top three finishes. The final three will be given an entry free of charge to the semifinal round of the Global Final tournament which will have a prize pool of $4 million!
For 2016 and into 2017, there is much to see and do in the world of baccarat. Players are gearing up for the July event in the hopes of gaining entry into the next big tournament.
