Yan Jun, a salesman became a king yesterday. Jun won HK$15 million in a baccarat tournament in what is becoming the gambling capitol of the world, Macau.

Yan bested eight other contestants from around the world including China, Hong Kong, Macau, the U.S. and Holland in the final round.

Yan is a frequent visitor to the Macau Casinos and gave this winning tip, "If your bet is not big enough, you cannot win" and added "I go to Macau quite often and usually bet about several thousand [Macau] dollars to more than a hundred thousand each time."

The tournament was set up to have each player start the final session with had HK$100,000. Half of that was to be brought to the table by the player and half was provided by the tournament sponsor.

With over a thousand participants, Yan Jun can truly be called the “King of Baccarat”.
