Foxwoods Casino Adds Program for Baccarat Players
Foxwoods Resort Casino has created and launched a new program for baccarat players that were created for their Asian players. The program was launched on Monday and is the first promotion offered at a United States casino that is popular in Macau casinos. The new program is called Rolling Chips and allows players to buy chips that have a different look and feel than average chips. These players will also get a 1.5 percent rebate in cash chips. The players will use the rolling chips during regular play and winning bets will be paid out in regular cash chips while losing bets are kept by the house.
Joe Jimenez, the senior vice president of casino marketing for Foxwoods, explained how the program works. Jimenez stated that if a player buys $1,000 in rolling chips then he would get $15 in cash chips. The player then continues to “roll” their winnings into more cash chips.
The rolling chips can be purchased at designated baccarat tables with a minimum bet of $100. Jimenez commented: “We’ve always been a leader in service to the Asian community.
This is a continuation of that. We are thrilled to be the first casino in the county to offer this option to our casino patrons. We believe this program offers our customers more of what they want at a gaming facility – the ability to play their favorite game longer.”
