Alot of casinos are gearing up for the Chinese new year, The Palazzo, one of the newest casinos on the strip has put on their finery for the coming New Year, there are going to be traditional lion dances, decorations and other festive events

This celebration will last 10 long days in Las Vegas and casino operators can't wait as it usually brings in big business in the higher end Baccarat rooms. Last year over one billion was wagered on baccarat during February.

The vast majority of this money was mostly due to Asian players gambling during the Chinese New Year according to analysts. The casinos ended up with over 116 million in wins after the celebration was over.
