Baccarat Challenge at Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino
A player from Japan has won the $85,000 grand prize at the Baccarat Challenge that was held at the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino. The baccarat champion that doesn't wish to be identified had to beat out 143 other players from Japan and South Korea to win this tournament. The Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino marketing and promotions coordinator Kiri Jackson and tournament director Tony Jackson handed out awards to the top four players after the finals ended on Sunday evening.
The players all started with 30 hands for both the qualifying and semi final rounds and they had 40 hands in the final round. Only fourth players made it to the semi final round and all were hoping to be one of the 10 people who would be playing for the championship in the final round.
The player that came in second got $30,000 dollars, third place saw $16,000 dollars and finally the last player to get any cash in fourth place got $6,000 dollars. This was the first Baccarat Challenge of the year and their will be five more challenges throughout the year.
