Adelaide Casino Revenues Up Due to Baccarat and Roulette
Every casino has its moneymaker and according to Adelaide Sky City Casino their money maker is Baccarat and Roulette. The casino reported that their revenues are up to $29.4 million which was higher than the other six casinos owned by the Sky City group. The company’s net annual profit increased a whopping 131% to $115.3 million as of June 30th. The Adelaide casino contributed to a 42% increase in pre-tax earnings which is almost half of the company’s earnings.
The Sky City Chief Executive Nigel Morrison commented: “We have been very pleased with the performance of our Adelaide casino this year. Adelaide’s full year earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) is a record result since the SKYCITY acquisition of the Adelaide casino in 2000.”
Adelaide has undergone a few changes which mostly likely contributed to the higher earnings. The casino recently added a new baccarat room on the main gaming floor which has now become the hot spot at the casino. Roulette is still on top but baccarat is creeping its way into the top game of the casino.
